A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the date.
The balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the event.
Bookings made within 30 days of the event must be paid in full at the time of booking.
2. Cancellations
Client cancellations within:
30+ days: no further fees due (deposit retained).
14–29 days: 50% of the total fee is payable.
Less than 14 days: 100% of the fee is payable.
If I need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness), I will:
Provide as much notice as possible.
Endeavour to find a suitable replacement.
Refund all monies paid, including the deposit, if no replacement is found.
3. Performance Requirements
A safe, weather-appropriate, and sheltered performance space must be provided (especially for outdoor weddings).
Access to a reliable power source is required.
Access to the performance space 60 minutes before is required to ensure adequate time to set up & sound check.
4. Repertoire & Requests
Song lists can be found here – https://allietheweddingsinger.com/repertoire. Please let me know prior to the event if you would like to ensure any songs in particular are played.
I will aim to learn up to 3 special request songs (usually ceremony entrance, exit & first dance), provided they are requested at least 4 weeks prior to the event.
Additional song requests may incur a learning fee.
If booking the party DJ service, please send any songs you would like to be queued for the evening at least 4 weeks prior to the event.
5. Event Timing
Performance start and finish times must be agreed upon in advance. These will be detailed in your invoice.
Any changes to the schedule on the day will be accommodated where possible, but additional performance time may incur further charges.
1 hour of live vocals = 45 min performance & 15 min break
6. Force Majeure
I am not liable for any cancellation or non-performance due to events beyond my control (e.g. natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, illness, etc.).
7. Liability
While I will take all due care, I am not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs during my performance caused by factors outside of my control.
8. Photography & Promotion
I may take or request photos/videos for promotional use unless the client objects in writing.
9. Travel & Accommodation
For venues over 100km from Brisbane CBD, travel costs will apply.
If overnight accommodation is required, this will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking.
